"The EMR has turned physicians into data entry technicians" (Russell Phillips, Harvard physician) who spend most of their time (50%) in front of a screen (Velazquez., 2021; Payerchin, R., 2021), as they need to document the patient visits and transcribe the key information. This trivial task translates into 56% of clinicians reporting documentation as the main cause of burnouts (Medscape, 2018). Since its launch in 2017, the services has supported more than 200 patients in the Autonomous Province of Trento, also thanks to the partners network (10+ entities).
