## 1. Data controller

## 2. What data is collected
Only what you provide when subscribing:

No tracking profiles, no purchase of third-party data, no profiling for advertising.
## 3. Purpose and legal basis
Your email is used **only** to send the newsletter — occasional notes on AI, risk, privacy, and the things I build. The legal basis is your **consent** (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via double opt-in: you confirm your subscription by clicking a link in a confirmation email. No confirmation, no emails.
## 4. Processor
Emails are sent through **Brevo** (Sendinblue SAS, France, EU), acting as data processor under a Data Processing Agreement. Your email is stored on EU servers. Where Brevo relies on sub-providers outside the EEA, it does so under GDPR-compliant safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).
## 5. Retention
Your email is kept until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, you are removed from the active list.
## 6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can, at any time and free of charge:
- **Access** the data held about you
- **Rectify** an incorrect email address
- **Erase** your data (unsubscribe + deletion request)
- **Withdraw consent** — every email has a one-click unsubscribe link
- **Lodge a complaint** with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, [garanteprivacy.it](https://www.garanteprivacy.it))
